Family Involvement

       Phi Mu cherishes the opportunities to invite our parents and families to Athens. We host a variety of events each semester to allow our families to meet our friends and tour around Athens. Below are a few of our favorite annual events!

 

MOTHER DAUGHTER BRUNCH

   

Phi Mu's love their mothers and love to show them appreciation with our annual Mother Daughter brunch. We host brunch at the Phi Mu house on a free Sunday in the fall. Afterwards, the mothers help Alpha Alpha decorate the house for the holiday season, just in time for UGA Miracle's annual Tour of Homes!

PARENT'S WEEKEND

Parents' Weekend is an event that both members and their families look forward to each Spring! We love spending time with out parents while also getting to show them what UGA Phi Mu's are all about. Parents' Weekend includes a casual cocktail reception on Friday night, then dinner and dancing to a fantastic Motown band the following night! This year, we are pairing up with our favorite Athens boutiques for a philanthropy shopping day, in which proceeds will benefit Miracle. The Saturday night reception is complete with a silent auction that benefits our philanthropy, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. 

DADDY DAUGHTER DAY

Daddy Daughter Day is held on a free Sunday in the Spring. This year, we invited our Dad's to a BBQ and spent Daddy Daughter Day at a Georgia Basketball game.
